Fairline unveiled its Targa 40 in a world debut and its Squadron 58 in a European debut today at Boot Düsseldorf, which runs until 28 January 2024.
Launched to the world’s media, the all-new Targa 40 wowed visitors and press alike with its landmark power-down beach club balcony. Embracing a bold exterior design direction and delivering a sophisticated and modern, yet sporty style. The Targa 40’s open cockpit offers a hardtop and electric canvas sunroof, opening the whole main deck. Echoing the lines and extensive glazing seen across the Fairline range, the Targa 40 floods the interior with natural light and uninterrupted views of the water.
Fairline’s sales director, James Powell said: “We’re delighted to be here at Boot Düsseldorf with two debuts – the Targa 40, a major milestone in our new model development programme, and the Squadron 58. Both boats have been creatively designed to ensure a feeling of a much bigger boat with the running costs of something much smaller.
“The anticipation of the Targa 40 has been phenomenal and we’re excited visitors can finally see it alongside the Squadron 58, which was incredibly well received at Southampton International Boat Show in September. Joining me today is Christian Gott, lead concept designer of both debuts, who very deservedly won Designer of the Year at the recent Boat Builder Awards at METSTRADE in November. Our order book for both yachts is strong, with factory availability now stretching into the second half of 2025. Suffice to say, the team here is really looking forward to a successful show with such a great line-up on display.”
And in the perfect debut partnership, Fairline shared its Squadron 58 which, in a British builder first for yachts under 80ft, boasts large hydraulically powered balconies to both sides, and an innovative bathing platform which doubles in size. Teamed with the already large cockpit, the Squadron 58 has an aft, outdoor entertaining space, of over 30 square metres. The yacht exemplifies the latest in Fairline’s cutting-edge design offering flexible modular seating in the cockpit complemented with a glass transom to enhance the connection to the water and ensures unhindered views of the seascape.
The Messe in Düsseldorf is playing host to the largest yacht and watersports show in the world, boasting more than 1,500 exhibitors in 16 exhibition halls. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to get onboard two brand new models from Fairline as the company continues to turn heads with its cutting-edge design and new product development.
Alongside the debuts, visitors will also be able to get on board Fairline favourites including the Targa 45 OPEN, Targa 45 GT and the Phantom 65.
