Responsible for setting up moulds including waxing and gelling as well as laminating.
Working from technical drawings to Manufacturing Standards, both in a team and on your own.
The ideal laminator will have knowledge and experience of the following:
– Wet Layup
– Mould Finishing
– GRP Mould / Pattern Making
– Working to deadlines and achieving objectives
There is the opportunity in the future to train for applicator machine use and to gain your Overhead Crane/Master Mover licence.
Reporting to the Section Supervisor, daily production will follow the production plan (JMD). Work must be completed within the time set by the Master Production Schedule and must be finished to the correct quality set by the Manufacturing Standards.

You’ll also be expected to carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the your Line Manager.
This role is quite physical and requires patience and pride in your work as well as excellent time keeping, good housekeeping and a flexible approach to the daily working routine.
